Portret dede Pave

Prošle godine su u sklopu britanskog časpisa Practical Photography magazine htjeli objaviti jedan moj portret. Ono što me je kod njih posebno oduševilo je da se ljudi posebno drže date riječi. Profesionalizam u svakom segmentu komunikacije, a na kraju ljudi iz uredništva su uredno poslali primjerak časopisa kako je bilo dogovoreno, što baš nije često slučaj kod nas. Uredništvo je obrađivalo temu ljudskog tjela, a u dijelu kojem su obrađivali ljudsko lice htjeli su prezentirati svojoj publici jedan moj portret. U nastavku pogledajte o kojem portretu je riječ, kao i šta je uredništvo napisalo o fotografiji. A na fotografiji je Pavo Golemac iz sela Vrdi nadomak Mostara, Bosna i Hercegovina. Korišteno je potpuno ambijenatalno svijetlo bez rasvjete.

In this shot on th left, Ivan Kelava has taken what is a perfect headshot both compositionally and tehnically. The eyes are positioned on the rule-of-thirds grid line, and the shalow depth-of-field helps to draw our attention to the old man´s face. And it´s here, with the deep wrinkles and bright eyes, where the character can be found. It´s a simple portrait but that´s why it works." Practical Photography magazine, March 2014.
